Daily Itinerary

Day 1 February 17 - Departure

Our journey begins as we depart Los Angeles on flight AF23 at 3:25pm.

Day 2 February 18 - Paris, Casablanca

We will arrive in Paris at 11:15am. Transfer on flight AF1596 at 12:25pm to Casablanca, arriving at 3:30pm. Meet our tour guide and driver, and transfer to the hotel.

Day 3 February 19 - Casablanca, Rabat, Meknes

Today, we will spend our morning in Casablanca, the economical and industrial capital of Morocco. We will view the King Hassan II Mosque, one of the biggest mosques in the world. Visit the Mohamed V Square, Anfa residential area, and the beach promenade Ain Diab. Continue to Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco. Here, we will visit the Kasbah Oudayas, Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Continuation to Meknes. Dinner and overnight are at the hotel.

Day 4 February 20 - Meknes, Volubilis, Fes

This morning, we will tour Meknes, ne of Morocco’s four old imperial cities, it lies west of Fès, in the foothills of the Middle Atlas Mountains. This city was founded in the 11th-century by the Almorabitine dynasty. We will visit the majestic gate Bab Mansour and Medina. Continue to Volubilis, the site of the largest and best-preserved Roman ruins in Morocco. Continue to Fes. Dinner and overnight are at the hotel.

Day 5 February 21 - Fes

Today, we will spend our day exploring the fascinating city of Fes. This city has more than 12 centuries of history and it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, we will find The University Of Al Quaraouiyine, the oldest university not just in Africa but the entire world. Continue to Nejjarrine, filled with the scent of cedar from the carpenter’s district. Here, we will visit the Karaouine Mosque. In the afternoon, we will continue to the Royal Palace and to enjoy it’s  extraordinary panoramic views. Dinner and overnight are at the hotel.

Day 6 February 22 - Fes, Midelt, Erfoud

This morning, we will head to the Middle Atlas Mountains, reaching altitudes of more than 2,000 meters. Here, we will admire the contrasting landscapes of imposing massifs with unusual rock formations and hills covered in dense forests of cedars. Then, continue to the town of Midelt, a former French colonial outpost. We will make a stop in Ifrane, a picturesque ski resort at 1,650 meters, which is framed for its European-style country cottages with slopes roofs. In the afternoon, we will head through the market towns of Er-Rich and TiziNTalghomt, and arrive in Erfoud. Dinner and overnight are at the hotel.

Day 7 February 23 - Erfoud, Tinghir, Ouarzazate

Our day begins at the Todra Gorge. Here, we will enjoy a walk in the heart of the cliffs of Tinghir. Then, continue to Kalaa Mgouna the capital of roses. We will vist the village, the Valley of Roses with its exotic landscapes, stony desert, trees, like the acacia, and a huge oasis of date palms. Continue to Ouarzazate and visit Kasbah Taourirt. Dinner and overnight are at the hotel.

Day 8 February 24 - Ouarzazate, Ait Ben Haddou, Marrakech

Today, we will depart to Ait Ben Haddou, which is home to one of the most famous kasbahs and it has been used as a location for dozens of movies. For centuries, this oasis on the banks of the River Oued Ounila was a key hub on the trans-Saharan trade route. Its legacy is written large on the weather-beaten walls of the kasbah, which is crowned by the ruins of a fortified granary. We will explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, continue to Marrakech. Dinner and overnight are at the hotel.

Day 9 February 25 - Marrakech

We will spend our day in Marrakech, dated to the 11th-century and one of Morocco’s most visited city’s. It is known as the “red city”, with its numerous sites to visit, including one of the busiests square in Africa, one of the largest “Souks” in the world, and a very well maintained “Medina” or old city. We will visit the exterior of the Koutoubia Mosque, the Menara Gardens and the magnificent Bahia Palace. In the afternoon, we will enjoy the unique atmosphere in the souks and the famous Djamaa El Fna Square. Our day will end as we enjoy the numerous attractions such as dancers, acrobats, snake charmers, performing monkeys and story tellers. Dinner and overnight are at the hotel.

Day 10 February 26 - Marrakech, Casablanca

Today, we will enjoy the day at leisure in Marrakech. Discover the city on your own, shopping and enjoying the culture and flavors. In the evening, we will depart for Casablanca. Dinner and overnight are at the hotel.

Day 11 February 27 - Departure

Our journey comes to an end, filled with countless lifetime memories of Morocco. Transfer to the airport and depart on flight AF1497 at 5:55am to Paris, arriving at 9:10am. Depart Paris on flight AF22 at 10:15am to Los Angeles, arriving at 1:05pm.
